A few nights ago, I had the weirdest dream. I dreamed about, guess what, a mini eyelash curler. I don't know why of all things possible, an eyelash curler would appear in my subconscious, much more a mini. Well, I've been contemplating on getting the eyelash curler from Shu Uemura a month ago, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't thinking about it during that time. As baffled as I am, I went to Watson's later that day and got myself this:

FS says:
Create the perfect curl with this light, durable and precise mini eyelash curler. Especially made for accentuating small lashes around the inner and outer corners of the eyes.I've got not so thick and not so long lashes. As a matter-of fact, I'm a loser on the lash department. I've been undergoing temporary lash extension procedures since last year and that caused some irreversible damage on my lashes. So now I'm still trying to make them grow back as natural as they should be.
So why, Fanny Serrano? Aside from the fact that it's my favorite local cosmetic brand, I have been with their eyelash curler for more than two years now. And it works wonders. Three squeezes and I'm curled. It's also very cheap compared to Shu, I don't remember the exact price but I think it's less than 200 pesos. Refill pads are also available for about 50 pesos or so. I think 3 pads are included in one pack. Still very cheap. I have nothing negative to say about it, because it delivers the job quite well.

And for an eyelash curler to last me more than two years, durable is not enough to describe it.
Now back to the mini eyelash curler from FS. Well, unsurprisingly, it works too, just as good as its bigger sister. It's able to reach those small lashes that more often than not are missed by the regular sized eyelash curlers. These eyelash curlers wouldn't get awarded by the Cosmo Beauty Awards for nothing, right?

I am happy to have these two. Cheap products doesn't mean they're of poor quality. You just have to have a keen eye for products that truly deliver. Plus Em fears me more now. He's afraid of what might happen to him when I bring this "complex-looking tool" near him or near my eyes. He's in fact more dreadful of the eyelash curler than the tweezer. Hahaha. =)
Have you tried these eyelash curlers from Fanny Serrano? What's your verdict?
