TOOL TALK: Loving Pink Again - Charm Pretty in Pink 14-pc Vegan Makeup Brush Set

I mentioned here in one or two of my previous posts that I don't own a makeup brush set or even thought of the need of owning one. I had, in my own opinion, enough makeup brushes for my every need --- until I entered into a new kind of addiction. Eyeshadow palettes! Alright, point your blaming finger at me, I'm guilty! hahaha. =) I have 7 eyeshadow palettes to date (turning 8 this week) and oh my god, I seriously need to stop. =)

Going back, eyeshadow application will always be easy if done with the right tools. I'm no expert when it comes to eyeshadows, but I'm starting to learn how to do it right. And these lovely pink brushes from Charm surely does the job right.

DIY: Makeup Brush Holder

My Charm Vegan Makeup Brush Set was already on their way home to me last week that's why I was thinking of where to place them that time. I know it comes with an uber cute pink pouch but I wanted to have a brush holder for them. My brush holder (aka pen holder) just doesn't seem to work nowadays.

So I searched online for makeup brush holders for sale, until my search came up with photos of DIY ones. They all look lovely! I then decided to make my own. Hence, my search for "kisses" here.

Here is the finished product with my amazing Charm Vegan Brushes from the Redgirlshop. Of course, I'll make a review about these brushes soon. =)

TOOL TALK: Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush

Among all makeup brushes, one will definitely stand out. I'm not saying that this brush is the best of its kind out there because I'm no makeup brush expert but in my own little brush world, this baby truly is the star.

TOOL TALK: Suesh Brushes

Today I will talk about my Suesh brushes. I have three and I use them almost every time. You might ask, why only three. Well, I'm not actually fond of brush sets, even though I know I will save a lot if I opt for them, but most of the time, some of the brushes in a set are the brushes that I don't actually use or already have, so I end up picking individual brushes instead.

However, as I've said in one of my earlier posts, I'm about to get a brush set sooner than soon. And I'm very excited about it.

Anyway, here are my most loved Suesh brushes:

Since I'm on a hype today talking about my makeup tools, I would like to share my recent find from Suesh --- one of my favorite makeup brush stores.

TOOL TALK: Landmark Brushes Are A Frugalista's Love

Whenever I need a quick fix (as in shopping), but have no enough money, I always go to Landmark. From racks and racks of clothes, accessories, purses and shoes to even gifts, Landmark is (I feel dumb as I say this, hahaha) --- the place to be. =)

Anyway, recently, I snagged a few brushes from the Landmark TriNoma and so far I am happy with my finds. I think there was a cosmetic section sale that time. I also got myself some acrylic boxes for my lippies and blushes, and boy, I was like a crazy girl picking jellybeans from a candy store. Some cosmetic stores sell these acrylic boxes for a thousand pesos and more but I just got mine for a little less than 200 pesos each. I got myself 4 or 5 boxes I think. I'll post a photo of them here soon since I don't have them here in the province.

Anyway here are the brushes:

TOOL TALK: Marionnaud Brushes

Today, I washed my tools --- my makeup tools of course. When I checked my stash, I was surprised to see that I already have a lot, but to tell you honestly, I don't even own a brush set. But I definitely will, sooner than soon. =)

Anyway, since they are my trusted friends and makeup is useless without the right tools of course, I decided to talk about them.

For this part, I will talk about Marionnaud brushes. These pretty decent brushes are cheap but reliable, well at least for me. You can find them at most, if not all Watson's branches locally.

They have regular and premium type brushes. I don't own all of their brushes, just a few by the way. Of course, the premium ones are more expensive than the regular ones because of the material used.
